Comments about the web site: Great! Great! Your site is simply a must stop for 70's music lover. I'm a brazilian soul/jazz singer and composer and a freaky collector of everything in music and I have a weekly radio broadcast about anything pre 70's early 80's (From Hummingbird to rare Brazilian soul, Jazz, Soundtracks, and...) by internet at www.uol.com.br/edmotta/radioed/arquivo.htm or at my main page www.edmotta.com I start my record collection with hard-blues-rock like Taste, Cactus, Free, Atomic Rooster, Zeppelin,... And then because Traffic I discovered Jazz... Because Jeff Beck's Blow by Blow I Make it funky! I'm very impressed to see something so informative about bands like Epitaph! Congratulations for this MUST site! I have a question: Do you have something from Rumplestiltskin?

Comments about the web site: Good Site I dropped by looking for "Bakerloo" known as Bakerloo Blues Line. The liner notes are incomplete and incorrect in that Bakerloo carried on after Clem Clempson left. The band reformed under the direction of Jim Simpson (Big Bear Records and owner of Ronnie Scott's club in Birmingham) who had title (allegedly) to the name. I played saxophone and the guitarist was Adrian Ingram. We played even more jazzier style than when Clem Clempson was there. We toured England & Germany and appeared several times at the Marquee in London as well as on German TV. Just before I left the band it changed its name to Hannibal and signed with Chrysalis Records. It then went on to record songs I'd co-written with Adrian and I never got any credit or a penny in royalties (although I was told I would!). Interestingly we had a black singer, Kirk St.James who came to us from Hair in Paris and then went onto appear in the comedy film "King Ralph". I'm in the process of trying to see if video and audio tapes still exist in Germany of the TV recordings

Comments about the web site: I just somehow ended up here and have spent the last 2 hrs. enjoying myself, looking at what you have or want. I'm a huge Frankie Miller fan from back in the mid-70's and was really happy to see him included within this site, Yes, he did make some fine albums, but had a severe brain hemmorhage in 1993 and would've died had it not been for the patinece and love of his wife Annette, He is getting better every day and, though he still has a long struggle ahead, is just beginning to try songwriting again. He can't sing, but it able to play chords on guitar with some adaptation to help his strumming. There is now an official website at FRANKIE-MILLER.COM if anyone else wants to find out more about his past, present, and future, which is looking better every day. His friends have been a great help and there is talk about a benefit concert and cd in the pipeline, featuring many other Scottish, Irish, and British vocalists who sound similar....

Nazareth then re-arranged it , and wrote new words, and out came the song 'This Month's Mesiah'. Featured on the 'Catch'. This I have been told. It could very well be true, cause if you listen to 'Mesiah' there's a great deal of stuff remaining from the 'S.O.S' on it. By the way,You have a very impressive site here!. Keep up the good works! Comments about the web site: Hi, I recently read your web page on Linda Lewis. I have been a fan of this person since the very early 70's when I heard her on the Old Grey Whistle Test. I have all her early albums but only realised she had recent albums after reading your site..I now have ordered all 5 of her last albums on CD..I am over the moon !! As I said I have all the early stuff as well as the Ferris Wheel album. I am just in the process of digitally converting these to CD...a renewed interest in Linda has spurred me on to complete them. Thanks for the info on her..I'd be interested in knowing what material you have of her. I am sure I have the original Whistle test sessions here from the 70's..I,ll look the tapes up. Would be good to hear from you. Graham Yeates (UK)

Comments about the web site: keep on rockin in the free world! Cliff Davies teaches drums in the Atlanta area. From Dave Bates in MI. no e-mail yet. I will return when I have E-mail. I was browsing for info on Cliff and found your website. I have spent the last 2 hours going thru your data, very interesting! I met Cliff when he moved to this area. Since I was a young and learning singer songwriter and he being a talented veteran he taught me alot about the industry and music theory as he had went to college to further his knowledge. He was kind enuf to parlay this knowledge to me as best as I could grasp it. We were also in a band for awhile which I will not print the name until I talk to him again for privacy purposes. I plan to visit him soon. And will call him later this week. Once again your articles are very interesting and I have to get off the phone line now so I will have to return and finish later. Comments about the web site: Hi Alex, I agree with the assessment that Steamhammer's first album was and is one of the finest, least celebrated albums of its genre. Had it not been for an appendicitis attack suffered by Martin Pugh just prior to a U.S. tour, I think that they would have been recognized here as they were on the European continent. Comments about the web site: I watched TotP 2 on the seventies and they showed Marmalade playing Ob la di etc. There were five in the group, not four as per the web site, with a solo lead singer who looked suspiciously like Andy Fairweather-Lowe. Could this have been the case? An ageing but happy hippie would love to know.

Comments about the web site: I read the article on the Black Cat Bones (of which I was the drummer from Spring '66 to February '68) as I've tapes of rehearsals featuring endless solo guitar choruses of a very young Paul Kossoff and from a period of his playing otherwise not represented. I sent a cassette to his parents in the mid '80s - I think - and Island had planned to include an album of this music in a projected triple album. In the event the other members argued over percentage splits etc and Island settled on a double albumdc of Kossoff. I kept the tapes and then transferred them to DAT as the years rolled on and I'm now selecting some of the best pieces for a possible CD. My question is - Do you know of anybody who might be interested in releasing it? Thanks for taking the time to read this, Frank Perry
